Devil's Tower, Wyoming

August 17th, 2006
Devil's Tower, Wyoming; Mount Rushmore, South Dakota

A little more scenic now . The trip to Devil's Tower was well worth it. It's an impressive display of nature's sculpting ability. As is Mt. Rushmore an impressive display of man's large scale sculpting ability. The entire area, however, is a giant tourist trap. Kitsch extreme.

Got a hotel in Rapid City, South Dakota. Next door to the party, fight, and orgy. Sleep? Not much. I slept much better last night with big rigs rolling by all night.

Heading through the Badlands National Park from here then south and west and south and west until I'm home.
