Glacier National Park -> Motel 6 Great Falls, MT N47°29'17.76" W111°19'41.33"
Took most of the daylight getting through the Glacier Park. Once again saw mountain goats on a trail hike. Lots of photos taken, here is just a small sample. The air was a bit hazy so there was some enhancement to some of these to try to restore the depth of field.
Ended up driving out on Highway 2 planning to get a motel in Cut Bank or in Shelby. No such luck. All were full and by the time I got to Chester I realized I might well be in North Dakota by the time I found anything on 2 so after fueling up I dialed in Gwar at maximum volume and dipped down 223 to get back to civilization. At 11:00 at night the road was empty. Keep the car in a straight line and scan for deer was the mission. I missed all the animals, even the fox that remained sitting in the middle of the road while I whipped by. One more week to go and I have to be at my desk in San Francisco by this time. I am getting pretty sun soaked so that might not be a bad idea to coupe up indoors for a while.
