Between my chase for the part for my own car and the two guys I helped yesterday I keep going Northwest so I just stopped fighting
fate and went all out to Cape Flattery which is the most Northwestern point in the contiguous USA. My GPS reading gave me N48°23'9.42" W124° 3'36.36"
I got there right around sunset which made some nice photos in the late evening light but meant I had quite a bit of driving after dark to get
to a hotel since the area is full on the weekend and there's no empty campsites to be found. The headlight switch works great now.
I ended up getting a hotel in Aberdeen (GPS: N46°58'14.22" W123°49'24.48")
