September 12th, 2005
Today I drove from Binghamton down to Philadelphia and met up with my friend Jim. We then went to the new Citizen's Bank Ballpark to catch the Phillies against the Braves. I enjoyed the new park they recently built in Philly. It still has that new stadium smell. Not much of a crowd since the Eagles were also playing the first game of the season in Atlanta against the Falcons. We got some cheesesteaks and caught the game then headed to a bar adjoined to the ballpark for the remainder of the first half of the football game (it was loud and rowdy in there). Finished up the night knocking back a few more brews nearer to Jim's house for the rest of the game. The Eagles lost but the Phillies pulled out a win.
