on schedule: Departed 8:00 AM from Pittsburgh. Arrived in Sinking Spring (Reading, PA region) at 4:00PM.
I stopped in Bedford, PA and visited the historic Fort Bedford and although the Old Bedford Village was closed on Wednesday I still drove in and snapped a few photos. Cruised on the Turnpike, all told costing nearly $15 to drive from Mars, PA to the Reading exit.
Visited my Dad and we went for a spin in the '55 Thunderbird he recently had restored (well, that is it has been in the process of restoration for many years but recently completed) - photo to right.
